  • AGAPE Childcare Programme, Rishikesh: AGAPE runs a childcare centre for providing holistic development to the poor and needy children of the region. It offers tuitions, healthcare facilities, and skill development programmes to the underprivileged children in Uttarakhand.
  • AGAPE Childcare Programme, Rudraprayag: AGAPE runs a childcare centre to provide holistic development to the underprivileged children at Bareth village in Rudraprayag. The NGO also conducts healthcare camps, nutritional programmes and provides tuitions and clothing to children.

AGAPE, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1980 with the objective of providing education, healthcare and vocational training to the people of Garhwal Hills and other parts of north India. The organization is the brainchild of Mr. Vachan Singh Bhandari who was raised by his widowed mother under extreme poverty. However, his mother strived hard to provide him education that completely transformed his life. Thereafter, he took a resolved to educate the underprivileged children in the Garhwal region. Mr. Bhandari and other like-minded people associated with AGAPE and are working hard to educate the children in the Garhwal region.
