  • AGAPE conducts regular medical camps in the remote villages and towns of Uttarakhand for providing healthcare to the poor sections of the society. It has partnered with MAX Hospital, and has taken the services of well-known medical practitioners for conducting medical camps.

AGAPE, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1980 with the objective of providing education, healthcare and vocational training to the people of Garhwal Hills and other parts of north India. The organization is the brainchild of Mr. Vachan Singh Bhandari who was raised by his widowed mother under extreme poverty. However, his mother strived hard to provide him education that completely transformed his life. Thereafter, he took a resolved to educate the underprivileged children in the Garhwal region. Mr. Bhandari and other like-minded people associated with AGAPE and are working hard to educate the children in the Garhwal region.
